Who is EREBUS ?
EREBUS is the King of Darkness according to the Greek methodology also he is a God. Also the symbol of Darkness. And he is considered as the Darkness of the Underworld. Remember Light may exist or not but the Darkness stays forever.

According to myths EREBUS was born out of CHAOS, who Greeks believe as the first being and there is no an identical mother to EREBUS.EREBUS is the first born of GOD CHAOS(the first being).

EREBUS is know as the person who owns the Darkness, the person who controls it. At the "story of birth" I mentioned that theirs no identical mother to EREBUS but according to myths Nyx(Night) is the mother of EREBUS. SHADOW is a special personification used to call EREBUS. If you have play the game Shadow Fight you have already met the character. Some times He was called as EREBOS also, just a change of one letter.
There is a volcano named after EREBUS.
When we move in to some interesting facts in Greek literature the word EREBUS also use to known as a part of the underworld, where everyone immediately go after the death.
Relationship to other Gods.
EREBUS was the brother to NYX, EROS, TARTARUS and GAIA. His father was CHAOS, was asexual God and produce EREBUS and his sister. NYX and EREBUS had children and EREBUS was the father of AETHER(the upper atmosphere) and HEMERA(day).
